What are 3D text widgets?

3D text is available for all 32 bit versions of Cadvance. This is a widget plug-in application module that runs inside of Cadvance. You can copy, move, rotate and change properties just like any other Cadvance drawing entity in 3D.

 

Placement is performed using the 3D Text Widget Wizard. Text strings of up to 255 characters are allowed. You can select the layer text is to be placed on. All standard Cadvance properties such as color and layer can be edited. The height, rotation and thickness properties can also be changed.
